Performance and Mileage

The new 2014 Nissan Rogue comes with standard four cylinders engine that offer adequate power and good enough acceleration. The Rogue is noted to earn excellent fuel economy for its class. It claims around 26 mpg in the city and around 33 mpg on the highways. The car has real strong brakes and the steering wheel is weighted and not numb like a lot of cars in its category have. The power output is around 170 hp while the acceleration is somewhat mediocre though. The CVT as well as the transmission seldom make the car noisy, especially at higher acceleration. However, be it the front wheel drive or the all wheel drive the Rogue is great to drive. The 2014 Nissan Rogue’s Active Ride Control technology directs the CVT and the engine to respond to smooth the body’s motions once it has crossed a bump. Also the car’s Active Trace Control technology can apply the brake or adjust the torque to an inside wheel in order to aid the cornering effect.
