The company was originally founded by Louis Chevrolet as the Chevrolet Motor Car Company, with William C. Durant, William Little, and Dr. Edwin R. Campbell as the co-founders on November 3, 1911. The company was later acquired by the General Motors in 1917. The headquarters of Chevrolet are located in Detroit, Michigan. Chevrolet manufacturers a wide range of vehicles, ranging from compact cars to heavy-duty commercial trucks. It is the top selling GM auto brand in the United States.
