About Buick Cars

Founded by David Buick, Buick Motor Division, now popularly known as Buick is currently the oldest active all American automobile makers. The first Buick was manufactured in 1901. The car maker has introduced several successful models in the sedan section and finally introduced its first SUV in 2001.  In 2005, Buick consolidated its line-up. The automobile company has global presence, having majority sales in Asia and United States.

The company has been manufacturing cars for automobile racing as well. Late 1980s is considered as the golden age for Buick in motorsport. Buick’s line-up in North America consists of Encore mini crossover, Verano compact sedan, Regal sedan, LaCrosse sedan and the full size luxury crossover Enclave. The car maker maintains its position as a premium entry level luxury car manufacturer competing with brands like Acura, Volvo and even entry level Lexus cars.
